During January Michel Szostak and Jim Cole traveled to Japan to meet with officials from IHI< MHI< KHI and FHI. These customers are some of the largest heavy industry manufacturers in Japan.
The trip was arranged with the assistance of our long-standing customer, Fuji Industries Corp. Fuji Industries is a trading company that has been in business over 60 years. They have been trading aerospace parts for over 30 years. While Fuji has facilitated our sales to IHI over the years, MSA is hopeful the trip will increase sales to other heavy manufacturers in Japan.
Following the weeklong trip, it was believed that future sales will be made as a result. The Managing Director of Fuji Industries, Hideo Kitaoka, and his associate, Sue Blight, visited the MS Aerospace facility to continue strategic meetings concerning sales planning for the future in Japan.
