In July, representatives of MS Aerospace visited with procurement representatives of Lockheed concerning the participation of MS Aerospace with Lockheed on the Joint Strike Fighter program.
The Joint Strike Fighter is the Department of Defense’s focal point for defining the next generation strike aircraft weapons systems for the Navy, Air Force and Marines, as well as United States allies.

Over 2400 aircraft are planned to be purchased over the next 25 years. MS Aerospace is a very important part of the program as a supporting supplier of fasteners for various applications on each aircraft.

The program is starting to grow and will impact MS Aerospace more in the near future. The growth of the program will be reflected by more aircraft being built by Lockheed in shorter times. The consequence will be more requirements being made upon MS Aerospace to produce more parts for the program to maintain pace with the assembly of the aircraft.
The result of this program will be to join Lockheed and MS Aerospace more closely than ever before. We are proud to be a part of the team.
