In November, 2010 MS Aerospace signed an agreement with Supply Dynamics (SD) and United Performance Metals (UPM) to manufacture GE Aviation parts that will be ordered by distributors authorized to support GE Aviation requirements.
This agreement opens a window for suppliers to submit orders directly to UPM and SD, and these companies will then submit these orders to MS Aerospace.
It is believed that pricing, and efficiency will be more uniform and this will lead to better supply chain management.
