For MSA to succeed in its business it is necessary for our departments to work together as a system. What one department does will affect another department. When two or more departments work together as a team toward a goal, it is amazing what can be accomplished.
For the last year or so, our Sales, Production and Quality Departments have been working together to achieve “Qualified” status to manufacture a series of parts for Lockheed concerning the Joint Strike Fighter Program. In large part this effort has succeeded in MSA acquiring approved status.
In February, sales representatives of MSA participated in negotiations over several days with Lockheed for the pricing of various parts related to the JSF Program. While the awards have not yet been made public by Lockheed, our sales representatives have reported confidence in the out come of this effort, and we are very hopeful for significant business to come our way from Lockheed.
